Information
Macrosoma might very well be the most expansive type family ever created. What began as a single-style condensed sans serif font has grown into an extraordinary collection of nearly two thousand single cuts. This impressive range spans almost every corner of the traditional typographic spectrum: from compressed to extended, hairline to black, sans and slab serif—each available in stencil form and with soft edges.
Despite its remarkable versatility, Macrosoma remains a truly distinctive and instantly recognisable font. It boasts several unique features, such as exceptionally short ascenders and thin punctuation, which set it apart from its sans serif contemporaries. These signature traits ensure that no matter which member of this extensive family you choose, your design will retain its uniqueness and stand out effortlessly. The second in chronological order among the many families within this massive typeface, Macrosoma Grotesque Stencil is a refined reinterpretation of the core sans serif sporting subtle openings that lighten the densest stroke connections. This balance of structure and fragmentation lends the typeface a distinctive, industrial elegance while maintaining its readability and charm.
